Gold Leaf Pumpkins

step 1 – begin with simple ornamental pumpkins or gourds of your choice

step 2 – gather your supplies – spray adhesive, gold or silver leaf, a paintbrush and newsprint to work on

step 3 – open gold leaf and prepare sheet

step 4 – spray pumpkins with adhesive working one at a time

step 5 – lay gold leaf over pumpkin, attaching to adhesive and smoothing over all areas

step 6 – use paintbrush to tuck gold leaf into creases of pumpkin and brush off excess

step 7 – use extra gold leaf to fill in any unadorned areas

step 8 – use to embellish your fall table arrangement and enjoy!
