The Best Baby Gear

The Best Baby Gear

Baby gear is so much fun! I am sharing what I think is the best baby gear out there right now! Dan and I really enjoyed picking out fun stuff to enjoy with Smith. There are areas where we splurged and areas where we saved and areas that we avoided all together. We invested in our “workhorse” pieces. The pieces that we chose were an UPPAbaby travel system and a Stokke Tripp Trapp high chair, while we saved on pieces that are only used for a shorter period of time.

The UPPAbaby travel system is genuis! We got the whole package. I love the basinette for sleeping infants. The carseat is not too heavy and clicks right into the stroller base. The stroller can even fit a shopping basket in the bottom if you don’t need a cart. It is beautiful and has gorgeous leather trim. I have had other mothers stop me frequently and tell me one of two things. They either tell me they use the stroller and adore it or they tell me that it is a very chic ensemble. We opted to get an extra base for Dan’s car. It’s easy to install, and I love that we can just click it in either car and go. We also added a cup holder that is perfect in my opinion. The stroller has a sunshield and a little window that you can peek at the baby through. To cover the carseat when the baby is sleeping or needs to have a bit of a shield from strangers, I chose a Milk Snob cover in gingham and I love it.

I only bought three bottles, so I chose the Comotomo silicone ones. They are really pretty and now Smith is old enough that he can hold them on his own. I love the Sophie teethers and Doddle and Co. Pop pacifiers. I also really love the CutiePAT Pacifiers too. With those, we use the Cutie Clips from Ryan & Rose. They’re so adorable!

I’ll be honest and tell you that I buy Target diapers and wipes for the most part but I have splurged on some Honest ones just for fun. The holiday and seasonal ones are too stinking cute. Also, the wipe packaging is pretty darling. While I may not use them at home, Dan bought some for us to keep in the diaper bag. I love the Baby Bum products too! They smell amazing, the packaging is awesome and they work really well. Also, they are plant based and don’t irritate Smith’s skin.

I really love baby clothes and there are so many fantastic sources. My favorite new brand is Burt’s Bees Baby. The pieces wash well, are durable and are darling. The sets often come with the cutest knotted cap. They have holiday pjs that we loved too. One of my barre instructors introduced me to H&M Concious. It’s H&M’s line of cute organic baby clothes. The pieces are cute, classic and affordable!

Cheers!
