Decorating the Bedroom

Decorating the bedroom can be a really fabulous project. Our bedrooms ideally are the perfect cozy retreat. Crisp linens and a cool headboard, with sconces or a pair of pretty lamps, make the perfect place to read before dozing off. Think of great hotels or vacation homes you’ve stayed in and create the same type of luxury at home. I like a crisp palate mixed with natural materials, to remind me of trips to the ocean. A throw in a great pattern or a seagrass rug tie the room together. Don’t forget the little pieces that make the room look like you, whether you have a great view to gaze at the stars or have a collection of prints that you love.

A well made chair or headboard will last you for years and the feel of high quality sheets is heavenly.
