A Pretty and Simple Spring Table

A Pretty and Simple Spring Table

My family loves to celebrate holidays with a festive meal and fun traditions. It’s time to get down to business and setting a pretty and simple spring table is a good place to start. I was in Serena & Lily in Chicago a couple of weeks ago and loved how cool and coastal the vibe was. I picked out these pretty placemats and a little checked dish there. I think they are cute and fun.

These napkins are a staple in our house and I think it all ties together nicely with these glasses that I got in Seaside.

I went to the prettiest Spring Centerpiece class this weekend. It was given by the lovliest ladies who own Hazelfield Farms.  Hazelfield is an organic farm that grows flowers and vegetables. They create the dreamiest flowers for weddings and events. I love the elegant and natural feel of their arrangements.

The class was at Idlewild Butterfly Farm and could not have been more perfect. They taught how to create arrangements with flowers that are blooming right now. We used beautiful greens including boxwood and lavender. The flowers were gorgeous and included tulips, lilacs, red bud branches, anemones and ranunculus! This would be a fun project to try this week for your Easter table! You might even be able to cut blooming branches and flowers from your yard!

Cheers!
