We have some very exciting news to share! Dan and I are thrilled to be introducing our new baby, Asher! He arrived on April 8th at 2:42 pm. We are all so in love with him. He has a full head of the prettiest dark brown hair, and his fingers and toes are so tiny and sweet too! Asher is really snuggly right now. The baby sleeps on Dan’s chest in the evening and it’s precious! He completes our family in a beautiful way. Smith is so sweet with him and loves to “hold” the baby while we hold him. Smith also gives the baby kisses and then claps to congratulate himself! It’s so cute!
Having a baby during a pandemic is a surreal experience. I was truly fortunate that Dan was able to be next to me when I delivered Asher. Everyone at Baptist East was wonderful, even though it is and was quite a frightening time to be in the hospital. Obviously, there were no photographers in the hospital, so I snapped a few pictures of my own and had this announcement made from Minted.
I chose a black and white photo that I thought was pretty precious. There are so many components to the announcements at Minted that make them feel special. I love the skinny-wrap address labels and the printed addresses on the envelopes. I bought some cute love stamps that give it a sweet touch.
I also love the soft grey dotted back that coordinates with the envelope liner. I think it turned out to be a cute little ensemble to celebrate our happy occasion!
