These spicy and smoky blistered shishito peppers are a fantastic summer appetizer. They are flavorful and light, which makes them an excellent snack. They make a fun presentation when served on a slate tray. I love this spicy aioli too! It really has a kick and the smoke from the paprika gives it a deeper flavor. If you are having a little dinner party to celebrate the holiday weekend this would be the perfect thing to serve! You can find more summer recipes here and here!

1/4 cup olive oil
flaky sea salt
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons sriracha

Warm 1/4 cup of olive oil in a cast-iron skillet.
Rinse and dry the peppers and set them in a bowl.
Drizzle the remaining olive oil over the peppers and mix them to evenly coat them with oil.

Serve them with the aioli and enjoy!
