Are you hosting a summer soirée this weekend? I love to create a sunny summer tablescape when I think of entertaining in July. Even if it’s just my crew, I think setting the tone for a fun meal makes it a celebration. I am hoping for pretty weather! We would love to be able to enjoy some time outside in the afternoon and then come in and cool off in the evening.
I love navy and this bamboo Pomegranate pattern screams summer to me. I paired it with this summery bamboo flatware and this wrapped glassware for a fun summer look. You can find similar looks here and here.
My china is Wedgewood White and while I might want something fancy and different in the future like this, it goes with everything and is simple and chic. It is elegant and has a nice feel. I love the serving pieces and teacups and saucers.
My husband bought me a fun bottle of Dom Pérignon when we found out I was expecting our fourth baby. This weekend would be a fun time to break it out. I use these Schott Zweisel Pure Champagne Flutes because they use them at the Breakers. Not to tell a lie, I picked up this pretty little arrangement from a local florist. The peonies paired with sunflowers and hydrangeas are happy and sunny. Sometimes a little shortcut helps when you are trying to keep all the plates in the air. You can find more of my entertaining ideas here and here.
Cheers to a happy holiday weekend!
