Classic Wedge Salad

This recipe for a classic wedge salad is flavorful and mouthwatering. The recipe really lets the sweet and delicate flavor of the yellow tomatoes shine. Blue cheese dressing is so decadent and this version is no exception. Adding crisp radish slices and snips of chives perfects this simple and delicious salad! Ingredients:

For the salad:

1 head of iceberg lettuce

1 pint of cherry tomatoes

1 bunch of chives

1 bunch of radishes

For the dressing:

1 cup mayonnaise

1/2 cup half and half

1/2 cup blue cheese crumbles

2 tablespoons sour cream

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1/2 teaspoon salt

Fresh cracked pepper to taste

Instructions:

Quarter and trim the head of lettuce.

Halve the cherry tomatoes.

Thinly slice the radishes.

Trim the chives.

In a medium bowl,  add mayonnaise, sour cream, and half and half.

Whisk until combined.

Add the lemon juice and Worcestershire and whisk the mixture.

Mix in the blue cheese crumbles.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Arrange a wedge of iceberg on a plate and drizzle the lettuce with dressing.

Sprinkle the salad with chives.

Add radishes and tomatoes.

Enjoy!
