It’s Cinco de Mayo and I created this fun cocktail to celebrate. Dante has the most amazing Instagram feed and this cocktail is inspired by their “Fluffy Margarita Royale.” I love the pinch of saffron and the fun a bit of prosecco adds. This is the perfect spring cocktail to enjoy on a pretty evening outside! You can find more fun cocktails here and here!
Ingredients:
1 cup of fresh-squeezed clementine juice
1/3 cup of fresh-squeezed lime juice
2 ounces of your favorite tequila
2 ounces of Grand Marnier
A pinch of saffron
Prosecco
Lime and orange slices for garnish
Instructions:
Place a pinch of saffron into your mixing glass.
Pour in the tequila and Grand Marier.
Muddle the saffron.
Pour in the clementine and lime juice.
Shake the cocktail.
Pack two glasses with ice.
Divide the cocktail between the two glasses.
Top with prosecco.
Garnish with orange and lime slices and enjoy!
