These salted chocolate chip cookies are fantastic! The dark chocolate chips and sea salt sprinkles make these delicious. These are crisp and chewy in the center. These cookies will be the perfect treat for after school or dessert. You could even make ice cream sandwiches with these! How delicious!
There are some little tricks that make the cookie making process easier and streamlined. I love using a Silpat baking liner or you could also use parchment paper to line your baking pans. It is so much easier than using cooking spray. Also, using a scoop to portion the cookies is a great way to keep the size uniform.
Serving Size: 2 dozen
1 3/4 cups of flour
3/4 cup of brown sugar
1/3 cup of granulated sugar
1 10 ounce bag of dark chocolate chips
1/2 cup of butter at room temperature
1 teaspoon of vanilla
3/4 teaspoon of baking soda
1/4 teaspoon of salt
Maldon Sea Salt to garnish
Set the oven to 360 degrees.
Line baking sheets with a Silpat or parchment paper and set them aside.
In a stand mixer, cream the butter and sugar for about 2 minutes.
Add an egg and the vanilla and mix for another minute.
Add the flour, salt and baking soda to the butter mixture and mix the batter for 3 minutes.
Remove the mixer bowl and fold in the chocolate chips.
Use a scoop to create uniform cookies and place the dough on the lined sheets.
Garnish the cookie dough with Maldon Sea Salt and bake for 11-12 minutes.
Cool the cookies and enjoy!
