It’s time for back to school! Smith has just started Two Day Twos and it could not be more darling. He is a little teary when he gets out at carpool drop-off and then after pickup he chatters the whole way home. It’s safe to say he is loving it! When we met our teachers at the conference before school, he just loved the room. It has floor to ceiling windows overlooking the woods.
Right when the kiddos get to school, they go outside and play. This is fantastic for Smith! He loves exploring! They let the kids play and get dirty, and that makes me happy. I think getting out in nature is one of the best things you can do.
On the first day, at pickup, we witnessed the older kids who had stomped in mud puddles and I think of few might have rolled in them. It was pretty hilarious. The school asks parents to send the children with rainboots and play clothes so that it’s no big deal. It’s also pretty adorable to see the boots all lined up!
These cookies are so cute! We ordered them to celebrate his big day! He thought they were tasty!!
