Crunchy Frisée, Avocado, and Citrus Winter Salad

Serving Size: 2 lunch salads or 4 first-course salads

Ingredients for the salad:

1 avocado, pitted and sliced

1 orange, peeled and halved, with the membranes removed

1/2 cup snow peas, trimmed and washed

1/2 cup colorful radishes, peeled and thinly sliced

2 cups of frisée, washed and patted dry

2 tablespoons of black sesame seeds

Ingredients for the vinaigrette:

2 limes, juiced

2 lemons, juiced

1/2 cup of olive oil

2 tablespoons of honey

1 tablespoon of dijon mustard

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions for the salad:

Arrange a bed of frisée as the base.

Add in a layer of radishes, mixing colors to make a pleasing arrangement.

Tuck in snow peas and avocado slices.

Add the thin slices of oranges.

Dust the salad with black sesame seeds.

Instructions for the salad:

In a small bowl, pour in the lime juice, lemon juice, and olive oil.

Add the dijon mustard and honey.

Whisk the mixture until it is well combined.

Season the dressing to your preference with salt and pepper.
