Ingredients:
For the sour mix:
1 cup of water
1 cup of sugar
1 cup of lemon juice
3/4 cup of lime juice
For the margaritas:
3 ounces of mezcal
2 ounces of orange liqueur
2 ounces of sour mix
2 ounces of fresh pineapple juice
Fresh pineapple wedges for garnish
3 cups of nugget ice
Instructions:
For the sour mix:
In a small pan, whisk the sugar and water together.
Simmer the mixture over medium heat until the sugar is completely dissolved.
Transfer the simple syrup to a large jar and let it cool.
When the syrup has completely cooled, add the lemon juice and lime juice.
Shake the mix until it is well combined.
